#spontaneousdancefit is that a thing??! 😂 Today I experienced it. I felt so lit after yoga. The music was hitting on a different level and I channeled this expression. It felt so good I was like, f*ck it, I’m gonna record it. Is the energy contagious? The first sequence is a mashup of “unshakeable trust” mudra (interlacing fingers to rest on your heart) and “gloving” (a rave term for LED finger dancing). And then you get hit with a kaleidoscope of my multi-facets. 😳💎 Mirroring is fascinating - in psychology, in spirituality, in art application… there’s something about a kaleidoscope effect that screams - look at all the beautiful, intricate pieces. In fact, it literally means “observer of beautiful forms”. Continually changing pattern of shapes and colors. Isn’t that what we all are? I don’t know what I’m doing. 🤣 Do you?? I think the best part about being an artist is experimentation. You have to try and if it doesn’t come out the way you like, try try again. It’s an ongoing game of trial and error. Surrendering the ego is mandatory when channeling art. But eventually you get close to your vision. Whatever that felt like. Or you might realize that the f*cking around turned out better than you could have even imagined. F*ck around and find out has infinite meanings. What an opportunity it is to reinvent, to play, to transform. I am so grateful for the inspiration and resources to materialize my perspective into existence. This track sparked me. I’m fascinated by what sparks imagination. This track lit a creative fire with me… Apparently there’s some controversy surrounding the legitimacy of originality. What’s the line between imitation as flattery and inspiration as plagiarism? I personally think it’s intent and enough changes in variables to spin the “original” creation. (See what I did there?) Or perhaps you just came across a similar frequency in a different timeline that someone else had previously stumbled upon. That would be tapping into the collective unconscious. Over here doing math to make art. 🤓😂 This is my second generative art piece and I think I’m doing pretty alright. 🥳 TouchDesigner is dope! I made this colorful wave loop with geometry and then changed the y axis to fill the screen in different proportions. Recorded all variations in standard color and then a solarized filter to reverse the tones. The rad spinning head loop is @beeple_crap. I tweaked the channels and luma levels to block out the color and then changed color to give it an inverted look. ☺️ Inspiration for the music video was this track playing by @skiitour ✨🌀🧠🌀✨ My brain gets triggered with all the special sounds in electronic music and I love trying to create shapes, motion and color to dance with the audio.
